American Zen has recorded these songs that portray the first level of spiritual development in Buddhism.Unlike most religions, the first step of Buddhism is self-evaluation and freedom. This means being rebellious.

In Christianity, rebelliousness is punished or excommunicated.

Buddhism encourages free thought and imagination. Buddhism requires each person to evaluate: who they are, what they want, and where they are going.
