CDs and the Buddhist Journey of American Zen
Level 1 of their Buddhist Journey began with their CD: LEVEL 1 = PEACE OF MIND.
This folk rock album got Coyote's music on CLASSIC ROCK radio stations. A couple FOLK MUSIC radio stations also picked up on Coyote's solo performances like "Simple Lady."
But when LEVEL 2 = CHRIST KILLER was released in 2007, many folk music magazines and
radio stations even requested to be removed from our Press Release List. Reminds me of Bob Dylan getting booed when he added electric guitar to his folk music.
Coyote recorded the 4-track album,LEVEL 2 = CHRIST KILLER while under Mormon rule in Salt Lake City, Utah. The album was completed after moving to Tujunga California.
The "Nephilim Choir" add a new dimension to American Zen. Check out the background vocals in "Christ Killer" and "5th South."
LEVEL 3 = I WANT YOU TO LOVE ME is the most romantic album ever by American Zen. 11 songs and 12 poems tell the tales of Coyote's love and lust.
"I Just Want You To Love Me," is Coyote's "shopping list" for a new girlfriend.
This album will also earn American Zen some disdain from the folk music scene as this album moves farther from folk rock and further into power rock with Coyote playing drums for the first time.
